2011-2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Oil Maintenance Minder Light Reset – The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is a four-wheel-drive mid-size car belonging to the Toyota Land Cruiser range produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. It has been produced since 1984. In Europe, it is sold under the name of Toyota Land Cruiser LC3, LC4 or LC5 (according to its generation) or under its serial number (LC 70, LC 90, LC 120 and LC 150). In North America, it is not part of the Land Cruiser lineup, but it is sold under the name of Lexus GX for the two generations of 2003 and 2009, with an almost identical body and a V8 engine.

Time needed: 7 minutes

When engine oil needs to replace, the Oil Maintenance Required message will appear on the display. The engine oil maintenance data must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Maintenance Required Light on your Toyota Land Cruiser Prado:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without touching the brake pedal

  2. Press the ODOMETER/TRIP button repeatedly until you see “TRIP A”

    The button is located on the instrument cluster

  3. Next, turn the ignition “OFF”

    Press the ENGINE START/STOP button once

  4. Press and hold the ODOMETER/TRIP button, and turn the ignition key to the “ON” position

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without touching the brake pedal

  5. Continue to hold down the ODOMETER/TRIP button until “000000” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off.

    Done!
