How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Toyota Land Cruiser (2016-2020)

What’s up guys! So after our little off-roading trip, my Land Cruiser was due for an oil change. Now usually people would take their car either into a dealer or some type of mechanic shop to get this thing done. But today I will not show you how to oil change, but I will show you how to reset the oil maintenance light on this Toyota Land Cruiser.

I’m gonna show you how to do it from the convenience of your driveway. Everybody has their own preference on when to change their motor oil. I usually like to do it every 3,000 miles or so give or take just because oil and oil filters don’t cost that much, but engines do. So let’s get right to work.

How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Toyota Land Cruiser (2016-2020)

Time needed: 3 minutes

Now we’re inside the car and we’re gonna set or reset rather the oil service interval. The little dummy light that comes on on the dash which you can actually reset the interval that you want through your cluster screen system. So let’s go inside and reset the light.

Turn on the ignition
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START/STOP button two times without stepping on the brake pedal
Go to the ⚙️ SETTINGS
When you see the main menu you need to go to the ⚙️ SETTINGS by using the directional pad on the steering wheel
Select SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE or OIL MAINTENANCE
From here you’ll see the SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE or OIL MAINTENANCE so press the OK button to enter the menu
Select YES
When you see reset data, select YES and reset will complete so now you won’t see the maintenance message again
