How To Reset Toyota Proace Service Indicator Light (2017-2020) – The Toyota ProAce is a light commercial vehicle of the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota and was developed in the first generation by means of badge engineering based on the Peugeot Expert, Citroën Jumpy and Fiat Scudo. These were based on the Eurovans from the partnership between PSA Peugeot Citroën and Fiat S.p.A. After Fiat announced in 2012 to end this partnership in mid-2016, PSA concluded an agreement with Toyota, from which the ProAce was created and produced in 2013 at Sevel Nord with the identical sister models.

At the same time, an agreement was reached to develop a successor generation between Toyota and PSA. This second-generation was launched as Van model ProAce Verso, Citroën Spacetourer and Peugeot Traveler for the first time on March 3rd, 2016 presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The presentation of the commercial variants ProAce II, Peugeot Expert, and Citroën Jumpy took place on March 30, 2016, at the Birmingham Commercial Motor Show. Production takes place again at Sevel Nord PSA Valenciennes plant.

How To Reset Toyota Proace Service Indicator Light (2017-2020):

Time needed: 7 minutes

When the next service is due, the Service minder or Spanner light will appear on the display. The service indicator must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Minder light on your Toyota Proace:

  1. Turn the ignition to “S” position for the steering lock

    Make sure your vehicle is stopped completely

  2. Depending on your vehicle model, press and hold one of the following buttons

    The button is located on the instrument cluster

  3. Turn ON the ignition but don’t start the engine; the distance recorder display begins a countdown

    Countdown from 10 will appears on the display

  4. Continue to hold down the button until “0” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off

    Release the button when the display indicates “=0”

  5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset

    Done!
