The engine oil maintenance data must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Maintenance Required Light on your Toyota Land Cruiser Prado:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without touching the brake pedal

  2. Press the ODOMETER/TRIP button repeatedly until you see “TRIP A”

  3. Next, turn the ignition “OFF”

    Press the ENGINE START/STOP button once

  4. Press and hold the ODOMETER/TRIP button, and turn the ignition key to the “ON” position

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without touching the brake pedal

  5. Continue to hold down the ODOMETER/TRIP button until “000000” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off.
