How To Reset Holden Trax Change Engine Oil Life Light (2013-2020) – The Chevrolet Trax is a compact crossover or SUV from Chevrolet that was introduced in 2012. The Chevrolet Trax is sold in Australia as Holden Trax. It is a sister model of the Opel Mokka (sold in some markets as Buick Encore), but the Trax distinguishes itself from the Mokka/Encore by a different body and interior.
In May 2012 Chevrolet released the first image of the Trax. Holden followed in early June. Chevrolet wants to offer the Trax in 140 countries, but not in the United States, where only the Buick Encore will be delivered. The front passenger seat can be completely flat, there are also storage options in the various compartments on both sides of the center console and there is a storage drawer under the passenger seat. The engines of the Trax are identical to those of the Mokka: there are two petrol engines and a diesel engine.

When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Engine Oil Soon message will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Holden Trax:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the Engine Start/Stop button without touching the brake pedal
- Press the MENU button repeatedly until you see VEHICLE INFORMATION menu on the display
The button is located on the turn signal lever
- Scroll down to the “REMAINING OIL LIFE” menu
Use the thumbwheel to scroll down
- Press the SET/CLR button for several seconds
Release the button when a confirmation message appear
- When a message appears on the display, select YES to confirm
The Oil Life display will change to 100 percent
