The engine oil life system must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. - Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
Don’t start the engine!
- Press the Gas pedal
Make sure to fully depress the accelerator pedal
- Then depress the brake pedal 6 times with a one second pause between each push of the pedal
With your foot on the accelerator, depress the brake pedal six times
- Wait one second and then release the Gas pedal
After the 6th release of the brake pedal, pause one second and then release the Gas pedal
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
