If you exceed the specified service interval, the Service Required Light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Required Minder Light on your Alfa Romeo 156:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position

    Don’t start the engine!

  2. Go to SERVICE info menu by using the INFO button

    The button is located on the center console

  3. Press and hold the – (minus) and + (plus) buttons simultaneously until the display change

    On some models, press and hold [A] and [B] buttons simultaneously for at least 9 seconds

  4. The service time and distance will be reset.

    Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
