When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Engine Oil light will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Opel Karl:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
Don’t start the engine!
- Go to VEHICLE INFO menu (displayed by car symbol) by pressing the MENU button repeatedly
The button is located on the turn signal lever
- Scroll down to the “OIL LIFE” menu
Use the thumbwheel to scroll down
- Press the SET/CLR button for several seconds
Release the button when a confirmation message appear
- When a message appears on the display, select YES to confirm
