2011-2015 Skoda Roomster Service Minder Oil Change Light Reset Guide – Škoda Roomster is a multipurpose model, also known as MPV (“Multi-Purpose Vehicle”), introduced by Škoda in 2006. It was first introduced as a prototype in 2003, going into production 3 years later. Its design, by Thomas Ingela, translates into the duality of concepts envisaged for the front passenger space – cockpit – and for rear passengers – to which a generous ‘living room’ has been reserved.
This is a small MPV with extremely flexible and spacious interior to the class, allowing multiple combinations in terms of the arrangement of the rear seats and expansion of the cargo compartment. Its chassis is based on components of several of the brand’s cars, namely Škoda Fabia I (front suspension), Škoda Octavia I (rear suspension) and Škoda Octavia II (steering).

Time needed: 7 minutes
If you exceed the specified service interval, the Service minder Light will blink and you should reset the service interval. Perform the following step to reset service light on your Skoda Roomster:
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position
Do not start the engine!
- There are two buttons in the instrument cluster, press LEFT one repeatedly until you see the SPANNER symbol
Make sure you are in the Trip menu with the spanner symbol
- Turn OFF the ignition
Turn off ignition immediately when you are on the trip menu
- Press and hold the RIGHT button (00/SET) and then turn the ignition switch to the ON position again
Press and hold the button for 5 seconds
- Press the LEFT button once
The spanner light will disappear on the display
- Turn off the ignition and start the engine and verify the indicator has been reset.
