How To Reset Skoda Kodiaq Service Minder Inspection Light (2017-2020) – The Škoda Kodiaq is the second SUV of the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto after the Škoda Yeti. The name of the SUV is derived from the Kodiak bear, a subspecies of the brown bear. This lives on Kodiak Island and the neighboring islands off the southern coast of Alaska. A first glimpse of the Kodiaq delivered Skoda at the Geneva Motor Show in spring 2016 with the six-seat concept car Vision.
Technically, the Kodiaq builds like the shorter VW Tiguan II, Audi Q2 and Seat Ateca on the modular transverse modular system of the VW Group. The production version is a five-seater, optionally two more seats can be supplied for the third row of seats. Since the market launch on 4 March 2017, the Kodiaq is available with three gasoline engines with an output between 92 kW (125 hp) and 132 kW (180 hp) and two diesel engines with 110 kW (150 hp) and 140 kW (190 hp).
How To Reset Skoda Kodiaq Service Minder Inspection Light (2017-2020)
Time needed: 7 minutes
If you exceed the specified service interval, the Service minder light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Minder Light on your Škoda Kodiaq:
- Make sure the vehicle is completely stopped
Turn OFF the ignition
- Press and hold the 0.0/SET button
The button is located on the instrument cluster
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
Don’t start the engine!
- Keep holding the 0.0/SET button until a Service menu appears on the display
Release the button when the Service menu appears
- Press the 0.0/SET button again to reset it
On some models, a confirmation message will appear on the display, select YES to confirm
- Start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
Done!
This procedure only applies to vehicles equipped with Analogue instrument panel!
