Resetting Nikon COOLPIX P530 Digital Camera

Nikon Coolpix P530 is actually an updated version of the Nikon Coolpix P520 which was released last year. In terms of design, both are still similar to a DSLR-style camera body, the available electronic viewfinder and 3-inch screen for shooting. Its 24mm lens can be used portrays a subject from a distance thanks to the capability of 42x optical zoom and digital zoom up to 84x via Dynamic Fine Zoom feature.

Behind the lens, P530 comes with a BSI-CMOS sensor 16.1 megapixel resolution that can be used to record video up to Full HD resolution and is equipped with a Lens Shift VR image stabilization to keep your shots stays sharp. Given Nikon yet complete with Wi-Fi module, the Nikon Coolpix P530 also supports the use of Nikon-W1A wireless adapter to connect to a smartphone or tablet PC.

Factory Reset:

  • Press the [MENU] button
  • Use the [<] button to move to the tabs, and select “Setup” menu
  • Press the [>] button to select “Reset All”
  • Press OK
