When the system detects a loss of pressure in one of the tyres, a warning light will come on to alert the driver. You should reset the Tyre Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) when this happens. Here is how to reset the TPMS on the Renault Kangoo:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    The Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Turn the ignition key to ON position without starting the engine

    If your car has a Smart key button, insert the card into reader and then press the ENGINE START button without touching the brake pedal

  4. Press the ▲ or ▼ button repeatedly until TYRES SET TPW or SET TP appears on the display

  5. Press and hold the ▲ or ▼ button to execute the Tyre Pressure reset

    Press the button for approximately 5 seconds

  6. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
