How To Reset Oil Service Inspection Light On Seat Ibiza (2008-2022)

Good day, everyone! I wish you a day filled with bright smiles and positive thoughts. Today, I just got a short post showing you how to reset the oil service and inspection light on this Seat Ibiza.
So when you turn the ignition on, you see we’ve got the oil and inspection flashing up as a two-part reset on this car. I just did an oil change, and this is the last thing I need to do for this car. So let’s get rolling on this.

How To Reset Oil Service Inspection Light On Seat Ibiza (2008-2022)
For your info, there are some ways to reset and it depends on your vehicle model years (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022).
2008-2014 Seat Ibiza
Oil Service Reset
- So what we do is we hold the 0.0/SET button down here while we switch on the ignition
- Keep hold it for two seconds approximately and then release it
- As soon as it does, push the ❏ button and switch it off
- Now when we switch the ignition back on again now we should see that the service indicator has been reset
Inspection Reset
If you’re resetting the oil service you don’t have to turn the hazard one light on but when you’re doing the inspection you need to turn the hazard warning light on and the same procedure basically. So let’s do it.
- First, turn the press the hazard light on
- After that, we press and hold the 0.0/SET button while I’m gonna turn the ignition on
- After you’ve done that you still press and hold in that all you do is release the 0.0/SET button and then just press the ❏ button and boom that’s it done
2015-2022 Seat Ibiza
With Analog Cluster
Time needed: 3 minutes
Alright, we’re in the 2017 Seat Ibiza, and we’ve got this dash style with the analog display on there. So the way you reset is:
- Hold down the 0.0/SET button
With the ignition off hold down the 0.0/SET button
- Turn on the ignition
Keep pushing the 0.0/SET button and press the ignition switch on with your foot off the brake
- Release the 0.0/SET button when a message appears on the display
After a while it’s going to come up it’s going to say RESET OIL CHANGE SERVICE? but when you hold it a little bit longer it will come up and say RESET INSPECTION INTERVAL?
- Press the 0.0/SET button again to confirm
Now you can confirm it by pressing the 0.0/SET button in time with the message
With Digital Cluster
- In order to reset the service light, I need to first make sure my car is on
- Next, I’m gonna select the DRIVING DATA menu tab
- Then I’m gonna go to RANGE
- Now I’m gonna hold the OK for about 4 to 5 seconds
- After that, a SERVICE MENU will pop up
- From there you can select RESET OIL CHANGE SERVICE or RESET INSPECTION
