How To Reset Chevrolet Astro Oil Life Change Oil Light – Chevrolet Astro was a rear-wheel-drive minivan manufactured by Chevrolet in 1985 to compete directly with the Dodge Caravan / Plymouth Voyager (in Spain marketed as Chrysler Voyager) and the Toyota Van. The GMC Safari shared the same platform as the Astro. In addition to being used to transport people, the Astro was available as cargo vans.

Both Pontiac and GMC used the name Safari (GMC is part of the Pontiac / GMC division); Pontiac used it in several of his family cars from 1955 to 1989. The two Safaris, from Pontiac and GMC, were together in the market (they were later sold in the same dealerships) between 1985 and 1989. The name of the Astro model had previously been used for the Chevrolet Astro 1 Concept at the 1967 New York Auto Show.
