In this segment, I’ll show you how to reset the maintenance-required light on your 2007 Toyota Sienna. This would be the same procedure for the 2004 through 2010 model years. I’ve just changed the oil on this car and I’m going ahead and resetting the warning light. So the first thing you’ll want to do is:

  1. Turn on the car without starting the engine

Get into the car you turn the key to the on position but don’t start the car

  2. Push the ODO/TRIP button repeatedly until you see ODO

If you see the cluster there where it says TRIP A or TRIP B you want to go ahead and push the TRIP button so that you can get to where it just says ODO

Toyota Sienna Service Schedule

According to Toyota, you should get your Sienna serviced approximately every 5,000 miles or six months. They will do an oil and filter change, a visual inspection, open recalls, and a fluid top-off at this 5,000-mile maintenance visit.

The intermediate service, which occurs every 15,000 miles or 18 months, is the following service interval. In addition to the 5,000-mile service, this includes a thorough inspection of the vehicle’s driveline and brakes to ensure that they are properly torqued and in good working order. The van’s transmission fluid will be replaced during the 30,000-mile or 36-month service, along with the other two services.

What is the triangle & Low Oil Pressure warning light?

An exclamation mark in a triangle represents the master warning light, which might be yellow or red. It is not uncommon for the red version to have additional text warning you of a problem, such as low oil pressure.

As soon as you notice low oil pressure, stop your car immediately and have a check. You may need to check your oil level first. So wait until the car has cooled down and remove the dipstick. Clean it with a soft cloth and reinsert it. This should give you an indication of the oil level.

There are a variety of causes for the low oil pressure indicator that may be illuminated on the dashboard. Low oil pressure can be caused by internal or external oil leakage internal. Oil leaks mean that the oil is leaking inside the engine, and you cannot see it without dissembling the engine.

Another possibility is that the engine’s oil pump isn’t pumping enough oil into it. The third possibility is that the sensor is malfunctioning and must be repaired or replaced. So to avoid any long-term issues, have it checked out by a professional technician regularly.
