If you exceed the specified service interval, the Service Required Light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Required Minder Light on your KIA Telluride:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Highlight the USER SETTINGS [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] menu by pressing the [wp-svg-icons icon=”file-3″ wrap=”i”] button repeatedly
The button is located on the steering wheel
- Scroll to SERVICE INTERVAL
Press the OK button to select the menu
- Select RESET or ADJUST INTERVAL
On this menu, you can reset or set the time and distance for the next maintenance period
- Turn off the ignition and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
