When maintenance service is due, the Maintenance Required minder light will appear on the display. The service minder information display must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Maintenance Required minder light on your Toyota Tacoma:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without touching the brake pedal

  2. Go to  menu by using the ◄ ► navigation button

  3. Scroll and select the SETTINGS menu

    Press and hold the OK button to enter the menu

  4. Select MAINTENANCE RESET

    Press the OK button to select

  5. When a confirmation message appears, select “YES” and then press OK button

Method 2:

There are 2 methods to reset the maintenance reminder on your Toyota. Please follow the following instructions according to your vehicle trim model.

  • Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
  • Press the ODOMETER button briefly until you see “TRIP A” on the display

  • Press and hold the Trip Odometer Reset button, and turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position
  • Continue to hold down the Trip Odometer Reset button until “000000” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off.
