2013-2020 Audi S3 Service Interval Light Oil Change Minder Reset – The new Audi A3 was presented on 6 March 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. The market introduction of the three-door Audi A3 took place in August, later the A3 Sportback followed. In March 2013 a sneak preview of the Audi A3 sedan was placed online, this August was available. At the IAA in Frankfurt in 2013, the Audi A3 Cabriolet was introduced, which was in the spring of 2014 at the dealership.
Compared to its predecessor, the A3 m.b.t. has not changed shockingly. The biggest change has taken place subcutaneously. When engine oil service is due, the Oil Change warning light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Change Light on your Audi S3:
- Turn ignition switch to ON position but do not start the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the MENU button on the MMI controls to access the main menu
The button is located on the center console
- Go to CAR menu
On some vehicle, you should select VEHICLE
- On some vehicle, you need to enter the “SYSTEMS” menu
You can skip this step if there is no menu in your vehicle
- Select “SERVICE & CHECKS”
On some vehicle, you should select SERVICE & CONTROL
- Scroll down and select “SERVICE INTERVAL”
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- Scroll down and select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- When a message appears on the display, select YES to confirm
