Hey, what up, guys! Today I’m going to show you how to reset the engine oil service light on a Mini Paceman. This procedure applies to pretty much any MINI but makes sure you let you look at your owner’s manual for the proper oil specifications.

As soon as the maintenance is required, you will get a notification on your screen. To return your vehicle to its pre-maintenance condition, you’ll need to clear the information shown on display. Anyway, let’s get right into it.

How To Reset Engine Oil Service Light On Mini Paceman

Time needed: 3 minutes

I got a Mini Paceman here in 2015, and I’m just going to show you how to reset the oil service warning light. So let’s go and do that together.

  1. Turn on the ignition key

So the first thing you have to do is you have to press the START ignition switch here that’s it’s in the center console and you do that it powers up the ignition up

  2. Press and hold the 0,0 button

Then I am going to depress the 0,0 button and hold it for around six to seven seconds till we go notice a service item pops up

  3. Find the Engine Oil

Now all I want to do is toggle through the menu option by hitting the BC button and find the oil can icon for the Engine Oil

  4. Press and hold the BC button

Once we got there, I’m going to hold the BC button down so it gonna ask me for RESET?

  5. Release the button and then hold it again

To reset it, hold the BC button one more time till reset successful appears

So that’s all you had to do on this particular model. If there is anything else you need to know, BMW has content, and I mean MINI is part of BMW anyway. Thank you so much for coming along to my site, and have a great day.
