Good morning, Benz fam! Today we got a Mercedes Benz ML320/ML350 (W164), and I’m going to show you how to reset the oil service light. This light comes on to tell you that it’s time for service or oil change. When the light comes on, you’re supposed to take your vehicle to the dealer to get the service done.

Remember we have Service A, Service B, Service C, or Service D for Mercedes Benz. All these after the service calls for the service reset we are going to perform together. So let’s go for it.

Alright, we have a Mercedes ML320/ML350, and we’ve done a complete service on the vehicle, so we’re going to go ahead and be reset the service light. So let’s get into the car to try to do it.

  1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine

    First, make sure the doors are closed and put the key in position 1

  2. Press the R button on the dash

    Then when you see the SRS light on, tap the R button three times quickly in a row until the V Code voltage of light comes on 
    oil service light reset via R button

  3. Go to SERVICE MENU

    Next, you’re gonna press the ▲ up o ▼ down button on the left steering all the way until we get to SERVICE MENU

  4. Scroll down to the CONFIRMATION

    From there we’re gonna go to CONFIRMATION using the Minus (-) button on the right side

  5. Press the right ❏ button

    Once you’re on there we’re gonna use the right ❏ button on your left side to go forward 
    service light reset via steering

  6. Select FULL SERVICE

    Now it’s gonna go to a FULL SERVICE, so press it again to confirm full service and now everything’s done
