2006-2010 Pontiac Solstice Change Oil Minder Oil Life Light Reset – The Pontiac Solstice is a compact convertible roadster from the Pontiac division of the General Motors group. Since its introduction to the Los Angeles Motor Show in 2002, the Solstice was desired by many Americans. Time needed: 7 minutes.
When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Engine Oil minder will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Pontiac Solstice:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
Don’t start the engine!
- Go to Personalization Mode by pressing the INFO and ⏎ buttons simultaneously
The button is located on the steering wheel
- Scroll to OIL-LIFE RESET menu
Press the INFO button briefly to scroll
- Press the ⏎ button for several seconds
Press and hold the ⏎ button until the cluster shows ACKNOWLEDGED and Oil Life display changes to 100 percent
- Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
