Time needed: 3 minutes

Here we have a 2012 Nissan Titan to show you how to reset the oil maintenance reminders. We’ll be using this key that sticks out to the bottom right-hand corner of the cluster. So let’s get into the car to try to do it.

  1. Turn on the ignition

If your car has a Smart key button, press the START button two times without stepping the brake pedal

  2. Go to the SETTINGS screen

Then we’ll be spinning this knob or pressing it in. So those are the two functions what that does you’ll press it in until you get to the SETTINGS screen

  3. Scroll to the MAINTENANCE

Then you’ll turn it to scroll through these settings until you get to the MAINTENANCE and press it again

  4. Select ENGINE OIL

Now you’re into the Maintenance screen where you can choose what you’re going to reset and we’ll start with the ENGINE OIL by clicking on that

  5. Highlight the RESET option

After that turn the knob until you get to RESET and click it again

  6. Select the mileage by rotating the INFO knob and then press INFO knob to reset

Finally, turn it to reset it and click it one more time to save that setting and you’re done

So that’s how you reset on this car (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 model years). If you need to reset another option, just go through any of these that you need to reset following the same procedure to get to whatever menu you’d like. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.
