TPMS Reset: SEAT Arona Low Tyre Pressure Monitor Light (2017-2021) – The Arona is a Mini SUV from SEAT and was launched in 2017. Just like the Ibiza, the model uses the Volkswagen Group’s MQB A0 platform.

The characteristic of the Arona is the ‘X’ engraved in the C-pillar. On the Arona, the roof can be painted differently from the rest of the body. This makes a total of 68 colour combinations possible.

Each time adjusting tyre pressure or changing one or more wheels, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on SEAT Arona:

With Set Button

Time needed: 7 minutes

In this 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 SEAT Arona, you can reset TPMS using the SET button. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    Make sure your vehicle is in a safe place

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard on the driver’s door panel

    The cold tire is a tire that is not driven more than 3 hours

  3. Switch on the ignition without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal

  4. Look for the TPMS SET button and then press it until you hear a chimes

    The button is located on the centre console

With Multimedia Display

In addition to using the SET button, you can access the Tyre Pressure menu to reset the TPMS. Here’s how to do it:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Switch on the ignition without starting the engine
  • If the Multimedia System is off, switch it on
  • Press the CAR button on the multimedia
  • Select the vehicle SETTINGS menu by tap the touchscreen
  • Select TYRES
  • Select SET
  • When a confirmation message appears, select CONFIRM to execute the TPMS reset
