How To Reset Tyre Pressure Sensor Light on SEAT Ateca (2016-2021) – The SEAT Ateca is SEAT’s first SUV. It is named after Ateca, a Spanish municipality in the Aragón region, some 10 km west of Calatayud. The model is produced at the Škoda factory in Kvasiny, Czech Republic.

SEAT Ateca was officially presented to the press on February 10, 2016, and made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. This car uses the MQB platform on which the third generation of the SEAT León is also built.

Each time adjusting tyre pressure or changing one or more wheels, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on SEAT Ateca:

2016-2019 Models

Time needed: 7 minutes

In this 2016 2017 2018 2019 SEAT Ateca, you can reset TPMS using the infotainment display. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

    Make sure your vehicle is in a safe place

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard on the driver’s door panel

    The cold tire is a tire that is not driven more than 3 hours

  3. Switch on the ignition without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal

  4. Turn on the infotainment display

    If the Multimedia System is off, switch it on

  5. Press the CAR button

    On some models the button is represented by a car icon

  6. Select SETTINGS

    Tap the touchscreen to select the menu

  7. Select TYRES

    Several menus will appear on the screen

  8. Select SET

    A confirmation message will appears in the display

  9. Select CONFIRM to execute the TYRES reset

    Done!

2020-2021 Models

In this latest model (2020 2021), you can reset the TPMS via the infotainment display. Here’s how to do it:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Switch on the ignition without starting the engine
  • If the Multimedia System is off, switch it on
  • From the main menu select VEHICLE
  • Select ⚙️ SETTINGS
  • Select TYRE
  • Select SET
  • When a confirmation message appears, select CONFIRM to execute the TPMS reset
