Quick Oil Life Reset Guide On Buick Enclave (2008-2017)

Howdy, y’all! Today, we will look at how you can soon reset the oil life on the old Buick Enclave. So if you manually change your oil and you need to reset this light, I’ll go ahead and show you how to do that.

I realize that resetting the oil life is probably one of the most overlooked maintenance tasks, but we’re going to take care of it. It’s a rather straightforward task that anybody can undertake on their own. So come with me. I’ll show you how to do that.

Here’s How You Reset Oil Life On Buick Enclave (2008-2017)

Time needed: 3 minutes

Alright, we have a 2008 Buick Enclave, but if you have 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, or 2017 models, it will be a similar procedure. The way to reset the oil required or oil life is by using this set of DIC buttons on the centre panel. So let’s see how it’s done.

Turn on the ignition
Now we’re in the cab of the car and we have the key turn forward with the engine isn’t running
Go to the OIL LIFE screen
Then we’re gonna hit the Vehicle Info button till it shows up the OIL LIFE here on the dash
Press the ✓ button for several seconds
In order to reset it, what you’re gonna do now is you hold the ✓ checkmark till that resets to 100%
