How To Reset Service Required Light On Hyundai i20 (2015-2019)

Hi, Hyundai fam! How you doin’? Today we have done an oil change because it’s already 83,000 kilometers done on my 2015 Hyundai i20. And now is time to reset the service required light on this Hyundai i20.

So if we turn the ignition on and have the service light flashing spanner light and how many miles are left. All you need to do is no special tools. You just need the buttons on the steering wheel. So let’s go for it.

How To Reset Service Required Light On Hyundai i20 (2015-2019)

For your info, this guide will be valid for the second generation of the Hyundai i20 (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 model years).

With Type A Screen

First insert the key and put the ignition on
Click the ❏ button right here to switch through the menus and find the exclamation point or the wrench icon

Next, you go down to find the SERVICE minder
Then you do just click the OK button and hold it to reset

How To Adjust Service Interval

Time needed: 3 minutes

Now, if you want to change how long the service interval is, I will show you how to do that. So here’s what we’re going to do:

Turn the key on
First, put it in the second position with the key itself or by pressing the START button two times
Go to the ⚙️ USER SETTINGS
Then we’re going to scroll by using the ❏ button until you get to the ⚙️ USER SETTINGS
Scroll to the SERVICE INTERVAL
Then I’m going to go up to SERVICE INTERVAL
Set the interval
After that, you’re going to go down to the mileage or time and now you can change it to whatever you want

With Type B Screen

First of all, we need to switch the ignition on
Then we press the TRIP button until the spanner comes up on the dashboard

Then we hold down the RESET button till it starts flashing
Once it starts flashing release the RESET button and then holsd it again quite quickly and you’re done
