How To Reset Lexus LC Tire Pressure System TPMS Light (2018-2021)

Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) or also known as TPWS on Lexus cars is a system that provides a real tire pressure report to the driver. If the TPMS warning light appears on your 2018 2019 2020 2021 Lexus LC 500H or LC500, it is necessary to reset the TPMS. Follow these steps to do it:

1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

   Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving.

2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

3. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

   If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without touching the brake pedal

4. Go to [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] menu by using the ◄ ► navigation button

   The button is located on the steering wheel
   

5. Scroll and select the VEHICLE SETTINGS menu

   Press and hold the OK button to enter the menu

6. Select TPWS SET

   Press the OK button to select

7. Select SET PRESSURE

   Press the OK button to select

8. Press and hold the OK button until the TPMS indicator blinks 3 times

   “—” will appears on the screen for the inflation pressure of each tire while the reset process is being performed.

9. Run and drive your car

   TPMS calibration process will complete after 30 minutes driving between 25 mph (40 km/h).
