My previous experience has taught me to look to the left side of the driver’s seat floor for the gas tank release clasp. The Ford Edge is just one example of a contemporary car that has done away with this capability. To access the fuel tank, go to the gas tank door at the rear side of your vehicle.
- Press the door
To unlock the door, press in on the left side for approximately an inch and then let go.
- Fill up the car

- Cose the fuel door
To shut the door, simply press it back in until you hear a click.
