In this section, I will show you how to reset the service required light on Genesis G70. This is a 3.8 liter, and it should work for pretty much all the Genesis and Hyundais that are similar. So let’s go ahead.
- Start your car
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START/STOP button with step on the brake pedal
- Go to the ⚙️ USER SETTINGS
Then you’re going to go to the ⚙️ gear symbol or User Settings on the dash by using the ❏ button on the steering wheel
- Scroll down and select SERVICE INTERVAL
Next, scroll down to the Service Interval and hit enter or OK
- Set the service interval
In this menu, you can actually turn the whole system on and off right here. When it’s on you can go down to ADJUST INTERVAL and set how many miles or months you want
- Reset
If you just want to reset it you can go down to where it says RESET unless you want to reset
For your info, this operation work for the first generation of the Genesis G70 (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 model years).
