How To Reset Lexus SC 430 Maintenance Required Light (MAINT REQD) – The Lexus SC is a luxury four-seater coupe sold by Lexus since 1991. The SC has its engine installed at the front and a rear transmission (propulsion). The first generation of the Lexus SC was introduced in 1991 with a V8 engine under the name SC 400 and later with a 6-cylinder line under the name SC 300. Both were produced until it was replaced in 2000 by the SC 430, which was released a year later.
Lexus showed the new version of its sporty cabriolet, the SC 430, at the Paris Motor Show in 2000 and the car entered production in March of the following year. The power was delivered by a 4.3-liter VV 3UZ-FE engine with variable valve timing (VVT-i) coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission. The engine is identical to that found in the new Lexus LS. The V8 in the SC 430 is capable of producing 288 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque allowing the coupe to go from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds.
