How To Reset Lexus RX 450h Oil Maintenance Required Light (2016-2020) – The RX is a compact Lexus sports utility, which was started sales in 1998, by launching the RX300 version. In 2013, the “RX” model accounted for almost 40% (40%) of Lexus sales. In September 2005, the RX400h version was launched, which was a hybrid vehicle equipped with the continuously variable transmission (CVT). The RX450h version is also a hybrid car equipped with the continuously variable transmission (CVT).

When engine oil needs to replace, Oil Maintenance Required message will appear on the display. The maintenance data must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Maintenance Required Light on your Lexus RX:

  1. Stop the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to the ON position without starting the engine

    Press the POWER button twice without touching the brake pedal.

  2. Select [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] on the multi-information display using the navigation button

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  3. Scroll down to VEHICLE SETTINGS menu

    Press CENTER navigation button to select it

  4. Scroll down to OIL MAINTENANCE

    Press CENTER navigation button to select it

  5. When a confirmation dialog appears, select “YES”

    Press CENTER navigation button to confirm

Scheduled Maintenance Reset

The maintenance data must be reset after the required maintenance is performed according to the maintenance schedule. Follow the instructions below to reset the Maintenance Required Light on your Lexus:

  • Stop the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to the ON position without starting the engine
  • Select [wp-svg-icons icon=”cog-2″ wrap=”i”] on the multi-information display using the navigation button
  • Scroll down to SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE menu and then press and hold the CENTER navigation button
  • When a confirmation dialog appears, select “YES” and then press the CENTER navigation button to confirm
