How To Reset Audi Q7 Oil Change Minder Inspection Light (2016-2020) – The Audi Q7 is an SUV model from the German car manufacturer Audi. The car was presented to the public at the IAA in Frankfurt in September 2005 and was the first SUV of the brand. The second-generation Audi Q7 came on the market in 2015 and had its public debut at the NAIAS in Detroit. The Q7 became longer, but less wide, making it a less bulky car for the eye than before.

Furthermore, thanks to the new platform, the Q7 slid down hundreds of kilos, which also benefits consumers. The second-generation Q7 consumes up to 28% less than its predecessor. How To Reset Audi Q7 Oil Change Minder Inspection Light (2016-2020)

Time needed: 7 minutes

When engine oil service is due, the Oil Change warning light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Change Light on your Audi Q7:

Turn ignition switch to ON position but do not start the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.
Press the MENU button on the MMI controls to access the main menu
The button is located on the center console
Go to CAR or VEHICLE menu
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
Select “SETTINGS & SERVICE”
On some vehicle, you should select SERVICE & CHECKS
Scroll down and select “SERVICE INTERVAL”
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
Scroll down and select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
When a message appears on the display, select YES to confirm
Done!

Note! This procedure is only to reset the Oil Change Service interval. If you want to reset Service Inspection Due Light you need a diagnostic scanner like VAG-COM VCDS to do it.
