How’s it going, everybody! Welcome to my site. Today’s short post will be a how-to content. So now I’m going to show you how to reset the oil life or oil change light, and this will work for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Chevy Camaro.
Alright, folks, the last step when completing an oil change is resetting the oil life gauge inside of the infotainment center. So let’s go ahead, dive straight into this process, and get the car back on the road.
Time needed: 3 minutes
We are in my Chevy Camaro, and I just changed the oil. If you want to reset the oil life, you’re going through your menus here using the buttons on the steering wheel. So here’s how you do it:
All you’re gonna have to do is start up the vehicle
Then you’re going to press the ◄ left arrow to access the cluster applications
Then scroll over to the INFO and hit SEL
Next, go all the way down to where it shows you the Oil Life remaining
After that, all you have to do is click ► right to get the Reset option and click on that
Finally, click on YES and you’re good to go
