With the Toyota C-HR, you know how sometimes we get that annoying maintenance light comes on. Time needed: 3 minutes

In this section, I will show you how to reset the maintenance required light on this 2018 Toyota C-HR. As you can see, it has maintenance required, and we’re not going to visit the dealer, but we’re going to take care of ourself and the way you do that is:

  1. First, you’re going to turn the vehicle to the ignition on mode

If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START/STOP button two times without stepping on the brake pedal

  2. Clear any message

Once you’re in the ignition on mode, you’ll need to backspace out of the main screen

  3. Go to the TRIP A

Then you’ll use the TRIP button on the steering wheel to get to TRIP A

  4. Turn off the ignition

  6. Keep hold down the TRIP button
