How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Infiniti Q50 (2016-2021)

For your info, this operation work for the first generation of the Infiniti Q50 (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 model years).

With Intouch Display

First, press the START button twice to turn on the ignition
Then go ahead and click the HOME button to get the main menu

Once you click on Home, all main menus will show up for you, and go ahead to select SETTINGS
After that, tap in METER and then MAINTENANCE
From there, we’re gonna go ahead and select OIL AND FILTER
At this point, you can select RESET DISTANCE or adjust the maintenance interval if you wish. And once you are done with that, you’ll push the back arrow and then everything has been saved

With Cluster Display

Time needed: 3 minutes

Alright, I’m sitting in a 2016 Infiniti q50, and I’m going to show you how to reset this oil maintenance light. It’s tricky for some people or even for mechanics, but I’m still going to tell you how to do this. So let’s do it.

Turn on your car without starting the engine
With your leg don’t press the brake just press the push START button two times
Go to the ENGINE OIL SERVICE screen
Then you’re gonna be using these two ❏ buttons to scroll through the menu. So all you do is you keep pressing till you get to the ENGINE OIL SERVICE
Press and hold the ❏ button
Once you get that screen, you gonna hold one of the buttons and just wait for it you’ll see the new service interval
