2012-2020 Dacia Sandero Oil Change/Service Light Reset Guide

Hey there, freshman! Wassup? I’ve got Dacia Sandero just came in for a basic service. I’ve done the oil service on this even though the oil service light is not on. What I’m gonna do is I’m going to show you how to reset the service light on a Dacia Sandero after an oil change.

So if you ever did come across this particular model. This is a 2013 model, and you’re worried about your service that you’ve done the service and the lights are still on, and you want to reset it. I will show you how it’s done.

Dacia Sandero Oil Change/Service Light Reset Guide

For your info, this operation work for the second generations of the Dacia Sandero (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 model years).

Pedals Method

First, you’re gonna need to turn the ignition key on but don’t start the engine!
Then you’re gonna be long-pressing the Accelerator pedal to the floor
While holding it, now pump the Brake pedal three times within 10 seconds
Once you done with that now you can release the pedal and the service light has been reset

Wiper Lever Method

Time needed: 3 minutes

This is how to reset the service reminder on your Dacia Sandero Stepway. We will be using the button on the end of the wiper stalk and the right-hand dash screen. So let me do that right now.

Put on the ignition
Have a seat at the driver’s seat and turn the ignition on but you do not have to start the engine
Go to the Service interval screen
Then push the RESET button on the end of the right lever button until you reach the service screen. The service screens are the flat lines and the car and the tool on the right side
Hold down the RESET button
To reset it you just need to hold the RESET button till a new service interval comes on the screen
Release the button
So that’s will reset your service light. Now you can release the pedals and start the car to confirm that everything is done

Hi I have tried your opinions but then when I do 3 brakes pump it's not working. And when I try on wiper nob it doesn't show service spanner at all

    I've also tried both but unable to do this - I've posted on Reddit and other sites as well - 17 plate Sandero Stepway Laurette - neither of these options show.
