2011-2021 Volvo S60 TPMS Tire Pressure Sensor Light Reset Guide – The S60 is a Volvo car model; the S60 belongs to the segment of the middle class. The final production version of the second generation Volvo S60 was presented at the Geneva Motor Show on 2 March 2010.

The S60 is based on the Ford EUCD platform, used for the V70 / XC70, V60, XC60, and S80. The second-generation S60 is the first S60 that is also available as an estate car. The station wagon variant of the S60, the Volvo V60, was released at the end of 2010.

Whenever tire pressure is adjusted or change the tire you need to reset or calibrate the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Volvo S60:

2011-2018 Models

Time needed: 7 minutes

You can reset or recalibrate the TPMS via the audio system menu. Follow these instructions to get started:

  1. Stop the vehicle

    Turn off the engine

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

    The tire placard located on the door panel

  3. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine

    Put the key into the ignition slot, and then press the START/STOP ENGINE button

  4. Press the MY CAR button to enter the car menu

    The button is located on the center console

  5. Select the TIRE MONITOR

    Rotate the TUNE knob to scroll and press the OK/MENU button to select

  6. Select CALIBRATE TIRE PRESSURE

    Press the OK/MENU button to execute the tire reset

  7. Start the engine and drive the vehicle at a speed above 20 mph until the new inflation pressure has been saved

    Done!

2019-2021 Models

In this latest generation, you can recalibrate the TPMS through the touchscreen on the center display. Here’s how to do it:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Start the engine
  • Select the CAR STATUS app in the center display
  • Select TPMS
  • Select STORE PRESSURE or CALIBRATE
  • When a confirmation message appears, select OK to execute the TPMS reset
  • Drive the vehicle at a speed above 20 mph until the new inflation pressure has been saved

The TPMS calibration process will complete after 10 minutes of driving at speeds over 35 km/h (22 mph). It will finish automatically.
