2003-2013 Volvo XC90 Time For Regular Service Light Reset – The Volvo XC90 is a large luxury car in the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) class, which has been supplied by the Volvo Car Corporation since 2002. In 2005 a new V8 engine for the XC90 came out. This 4.4 liter Yamaha V8 engine produces 311 hp (232 kW) and 325 ft.lbf (441 Nm). At the beginning of 2006, the XC90 was given a facelift in which the 2.5T engine (210hp) was canceled and was replaced by the atmospheric 3.2 six-in-line engine with 238 hp.
The XC90 is available as a five-seater or as a seven-seater. In mid-2010, Volvo announced that it would not develop a successor to the XC90, because the full-size SUV is out of fashion and, moreover, does not fit with Volvo’s image that radiates safety, modesty and sustainability.
