TPMS Reset: Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Tyre Pressure Light (2018-2021) – The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact SUV from the Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors. It premiered at the 87th Geneva Motor Show and came to dealerships on January 27, 2018.

The Eclipse Cross positions itself between the ASX and the Outlander. The name comes from the Eclipse sports car built from 1990 to 2012. A revised version, which has been available in Europe since early 2021, was presented on October 15, 2020.

TPMS Reset: Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Tyre Pressure Light (2018-2021)

Time needed: 7 minutes

When the tyre pressure or tyre rotation is adjusted, you need to reset the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Here’s how to reset tpms sensor on 2018 2019 2020 2021 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross:

  1. Make sure the vehicle is completely stopped

    Apply the hand brake and put the gearshift lever into the N position (M/T) or into the P position (A/T)

  2. Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard

  3. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the Engine Start/Stop button twice without touching the brake pedal

  4. Press the ▲ or ▼ button repeatedly until the ⚙️ SETTINGS menu appears on the cluster display

    The button is located on the control panel

  5. Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”images” wrap=”i”] button to enter the menu

    Several menus will appear on the screen

  6. Find the TPMS SENSOR RESET

    Use the ▲ or ▼ button to cycle the menu

  7. Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”images” wrap=”i”] button to enter the menu

    Reset option will appears

  8. Highlight RESET and then hold down the [wp-svg-icons icon=”images” wrap=”i”] button to execute the TPMS reset

    The tyre pressure warning light will flashing slowly

  9. Start the engine and drive your car until the warning light goes out

    Done!
