TPMS Reset: Lincoln Aviator Low Tire Pressure Sensor Light (2020-2021) – The Lincoln Aviator is an SUV, which design is based on the larger Lincoln Navigator. Compared to its brother models Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer, it is of higher quality in terms of equipment and engine performance.

After a 14-year break, a new generation of the Aviator was launched in May 2019. The SUV was presented at the LA Auto Show in November 2018. Compared to its predecessor, the new model has a self-supporting body and is only available with a V6 turbo engine.

TPMS Reset: Lincoln Aviator Low Tire Pressure Sensor Light (2020-2021)

Time needed: 7 minutes

Whenever tire pressure is adjusted, change a tire, or get it rotated you must carry out the TPMS reset procedure. Here is how to reset the TPMS on 2020 2021 Lincoln Aviator:

  1. Park your vehicle

    Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START/STOP button once without touching the brake pedal

  4. Enter to the SETTINGS menu by move the [wp-svg-icons icon=”settings” wrap=”i”] selector switch down

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  5. Scroll down and select TIRE MONITOR

    Use the selector switch to scroll and select

  6. Move and hold the switch to the right to execute the TPMS reset

    Done!
