Whaddup bro? I hope you got a great day. Today I’ve got a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series with a 4.2-litre turbo diesel, and I’ll run you through how to carry out the maintenance service light reset.
By the way, in your navigation system, you see that kind of oil interval, and you can enter the information that you want you to know how many miles between your following oil change that you’d like you to know. So let’s go ahead and hop over to it.

Time needed: 3 minutes
Now we’re inside the Land Cruiser, and we’re going to reset the maintenance light. We’ll use the Trip button on the dash to do it. So the first thing you’re going to have to do is:
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
First, you’re going to push the START button twice until all the lights light up on the dash and make sure your foot is off the brake pedal
- Go to the TRIP A
Then you’re going to put the trip odometer here so you’ll switch it to it’s on the TRIP A
- Next, turn off the ignition
Next, what you’re going to do is you’re going to cycle the key off
- Press and hold the ODO/TRIP button as you turn on the ignition again
After that, you’re going to hold the ODO/TRIP button down and then at the same time push the START button twice to turn it on again
- Continue to hold down the ODO/TRIP button
Keep hold that button and then on the dash screen on you’ll see it count down backwards and once it gets to zero the maintenance light reset is complete
So that’s how you reset on this car (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 model years). I hope you enjoy the content and if you have any questions, please leave a note below. Thanks for stopping by, and good luck!
