How To Reset TPMS Tire Pressure Light on Pontiac G8 (2008-2009) – The G8 is a sports sedan from the former car brand Pontiac, which until 2010 belonged to General Motors. After GM went bankrupt in 2009 and the model range was restructured, the Pontiac brand was given up at the end of 2010.
The G8 was mostly identical to the old model generation of the Holden Commodore and was therefore manufactured in Australia, but only sold in North America. The sporty car was introduced as a four-door sedan in early 2008 (in Canada 2009) and is an upper-middle-class model (full-size vehicle).

If you replacing a spare tire with a road tire containing the TPMS sensor on your Pontiac G8, the system will detect a malfunction and the low tire pressure warning light will blink. You can reset the TPMS by increasing or decreasing the tire pressure without a tool. Follow these instructions to get started:
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the Engine Start/Stop button without touching the brake pedal
The horn will sound twice and the TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message will appear indicating the TPMS matching process has started
Start from the driver side front tire, remove the valve cap, and then increasing or decreasing the tire’s air pressure until a horn chirp sounds
A horn chirp will confirm that the sensor has been reset
The TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message will disappear
