How To Reset BMW 2 Series TPM Tire Pressure Monitor Light (2014-2021) – The BMW 2 Series is a series of compact class models from the German car manufacturer BMW. A coupé (F22) since 2015 and a convertible (F23) have been on offer since 2014.

The coupé variant is available with the BMW M235i Racing or BMW M240i Racing since 2018, two motorsport variants for customer racing. The 2 Series Coupé and Cabriolet, like the BMW X1 and the five-door 1 Series, are produced in the Saxon BMW plant in Leipzig.

How To Reset BMW 2 Series TPM Tire Pressure Monitor Light (2014-2021)

Time needed: 7 minutes

Each time a tire pressure has been adjusted or change the tire, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPM on BMW 2 Series 230i 218i 220i 228i 218d 220d 225d (F22 F23):

  1. Stop the vehicle

    Turn off the engine and shift to neutral position or P position

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Press MENU button to enter the main menu

    The button located on the center console

  4. Go to the VEHICLE INFO

    Use the dial navigation button to scroll the menu

  5. Select VEHICLE STATUS

    Some menus will appear on the screen

  6. Select Tire RESET

    A confirmation message will appear

  7. Starting the engine

    Put the key into the ignition slot, depress the brake pedal, and then press the START/STOP ENGINE button

  8. Select PERFORM RESET to execute the tire pressure reset

    You can choose cancel to cancel it

  9. Drive the car

    The system reset is completed while the car is on the move

The TPM calibration process will complete during driving. It will finish automatically.
