TPM Reset: BMW 1 Series Tire Pressure Monitor Light (2009-2019) – The BMW 1 Series is a compact middle-class car, designed by Chris Bangle and produced by the German car manufacturer BMW in Regensburg or Leipzig. It has been the smallest and cheapest BMW since mid-2005.

In the BMW 1 Series made in 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013, you can reset the TPM using the button on the turn signal lever. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Stop the vehicle

  6. Hold down the BC button again for 5 seconds

    A check mark will appear on the screen

  7. Drive the car

    The system reset is completed while the car is on the move

F20 F21 (M135i 125i 120d)

In the BMW 1 Series F20/ F21 (116i 118i 125i 116d 116ed 118d 120d 125d), you can reset the Tire Pressure through the iDrive. Here’s how to get started:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • Press MENU button to enter the main menu

  • Select VEHICLE STATUS
  • Select RESET or CONFIRM TYRE PRESSURE
  • Start the engine but don’t drive your car
  • Start the initialization using “RESET
  • Drive the car

The TPM calibration process will complete during driving. It will finish automatically.
