First, the technician will start a visual and physical inspection of the body condition. Then your technician will hook your Mazda3 up to the diagnostic system MDARS. MDARS can perform over 130 function tests to diagnose and fix any issues. After the diagnostic scan, They will inspect all internal electrical functions.
The technician will inspect your wiper system’s condition next, and under the hood inspection and thorough verification will be performed. They’ll check all fluid levels and ailments from engine coolant to washer fluid and identify any abnormal conditions. If necessary, the technician will recommend the replacement of the engine air filter.
Then they’ll perform a battery test using the GR8, a full-featured Mazda branded diagnostic charging station, to ensure the battery has enough power to start your vehicle. When the battery test is done, the Mazda technician will begin a thorough inspection of the tires, wheel system, and steering and suspension components, all inspected with the utmost care.
Next, they’ll perform a brake inspection, evaluate and inspect the tires, and perform a tire rotation to prolong their life. After that, there’s an inspection of the vehicle itself. If necessary, they will do an oil change and replace the SKYACTIV engine oil filter.
FAQ – Mazda 3 Maintenance Service
The base SKYACTIV-G 2.0 and SKYACTIV-G 2.5 needs 0W-20 synthetic oil, while the turbo version SKYACTIV-G 2.5T uses 5W-30 synthetic oil.
There will be three different engine choices for the 2021 Mazda 3. They all used synthetic oil, albeit the capacity and density of the oil required vary slightly. If your Mazda 3 has the SKYACTIV-G 2.0 engine, then you’ll want to need 4.2 L (4.4 qt) synthetic oil. For the SKYACTIV-G 2.5 engine, you’ll need 4.5 liters or 4.8 quarts of oil, but for the 2.5T engine, you’ll need 4.8 liters (5.1 quarts).
The price will alter whether you get your Mazda 3’s oil changed professionally or at yourself. You may expect to pay roughly $104 for an oil change at a shop. The price tag accounts for the projected cost of synthetic oil ($33) and labor ($71). Changing your own oil will help you save money. There is a wide range in price from $4 for a quart to $13 for a gallon of synthetic oil, with 5-quart containers going for $10 to $40.
