2013 Infiniti FX35 Engine Oil Light Maintenance Minder Reset (FX50 FX37) – The FX is a sports utility from Infiniti, whose lines are influenced by models in the “coupé” category. Although the FX35 and FX45 have received outstanding reviews and sales figures since its debut in 2003, Infiniti continued to produce an FX model in the following years. Redesigned 2009 the Infiniti FX line was officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4, 2008.
The new FX was offered as FX35 and FX50. The FX35 is powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 engine (Series VQ) used in the G35 Sedan and provides a power of 303 hp (231 kW). The FX50 is powered by a new 5.0-liter V8 engine set with a power output of 390 hp (291 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm).

When engine oil service is due, maintenance message and the distance to oil change information will appear on the display. The engine oil change interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the maintenance light on your Infiniti FX35 FX50 FX37:
- Turn the ignition key to ON position without starting the engine
If your car has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”copy” wrap=”i”] button until you see the “SETTING” screen
The button is located on the instrument cluster
- Scroll to the MAINTENANCE menu by using the [wp-svg-icons icon=”radio-checked” wrap=”i”] button
Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”copy” wrap=”i”] button to enter the menu
- Scroll to the Engine OIL menu
Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”copy” wrap=”i”] button to enter the menu
- On this menu, you can choose RESET or set the distance for engine oil interval
This menu lets you set an oil and filter reminder at a specific interval or reset the current one
Infotainment Display Method:
- Turn the ignition key to position “ON” without starting the engine, If your vehicle has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Hit the INFO button
- Scroll down to “Maintenance” by using the joystick and hit ENTER
- Select “Engine Oil” (If your vehicle is not equipped with a navigation system, you will only see “Reminder 1” on the screen) and press ENTER
- Select “Reset” and press ENTER
- Repeat that step for reset OIL FILTER (Reminder 2) if needed
