There are several reasons you need to reset your Oculus Quest to factory settings, such as when you want to sell it or when a system error. By performing this procedure you will remove all your account information, device data, your downloaded games, and your content. But it won’t remove content you’ve purchased or downloaded from your Oculus account.

Turn off the console
Make sure the console is turned off
Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN (-) button and POWER button at the same time
Keep holding down the volume buttons until the boot screen loads
If you are on that screen, select FACTORY RESET by using
Use the VOLUME button to highlight and press the POWER button to select
A confirmation message will appear on the display, select YES to confirm
Use the VOLUME button to highlight and press the POWER button to select!
Log in to the Oculus app with the account you’d like to paired to your device

You can reset your Oculus Quest through your mobile:

Open the Oculus app on the phone
Select ⚙️ SETTINGS menu
Tap the headset paired to your phone
Select MORE SETTINGS
Select FACTORY RESET and then RESET
Log in to the Oculus app with the account you’d like to paired to your device

Note! If you have trouble to turning back on after the reset, hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
