There are several reasons you need to reset your Oculus Quest to factory settings, such as when you want to sell it or when a system error. By performing this procedure you will remove all your account information, device data, your downloaded games, and your content. But it won’t remove content you’ve purchased or downloaded from your Oculus account.

  1. Turn off the console

    Make sure the console is turned off

  2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN (-) button and POWER button at the same time

    Keep holding down the volume buttons until the boot screen loads

  3. If you are on that screen, select FACTORY RESET by using

  4. A confirmation message will appear on the display, select YES to confirm

  • Open the Oculus app on the phone
