If you replacing a spare tire with a road tire containing the TPMS sensor on your GMC Envoy, the system will detect a malfunction and the low tire pressure warning light will blink. You can reset the TPMS by increasing or decreasing the tire pressure without using tools. Follow these instructions to get started:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the Engine Start/Stop button without touching the brake pedal

  2. Turn the exterior lamp switch from OFF to PARING LAMP 4 times within 3 seconds

    The horn will sound twice and the TPMS low tire warning light starts blinking indicates the TPMS matching process has started

  3. Activate the TPMS sensor

    Start from the driver side front tire, remove the valve cap, and then increasing or decreasing the tire’s air pressure until a horn chirp sounds

  4. Repeat the process for the passenger side front tire, passenger side rear tire, and the driver side rear tire

    A horn chirp will confirm that the sensor has been reset

  5. Turn off the ignition after you reset the last tire

    The TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message will disappear

  6. Adjust the tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard
