What is going on, guys? Today we are bringing you guys a content a little bit milder, but I think it’s going to be helpful for those who may not typically do maintenance on your car or take your car to a garage to get your oil changed. So now I’m going to walk through how to reset the oil maintenance light on Subaru Impreza.
Anyway, I would recommend doing your regular oil changes. That’s the best thing you can do for your engine as well as the fuel filters are a good thing to keep the fuel and the oil in good shape for these vehicles, and they’ll run for a long, long time. So let’s hop over to it.
Time needed: 3 minutes
This section will guide you through the procedure to reset the oil maintenance light in the Subaru Impreza. The way we play with that is on the steering wheel. We’ve got an Info button, two arrows, and then the SET button, which is like entering it we’re select. So let’s get it going.
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the Start/Stop button two times without step on any pedal
Then hit the INFO button and you’re going to tap it until you get to the screen it says push and holds the INFO button for the selection screen
So you’re going to hold the INFO button down and that screen is going to change
Once it does you’ll go down to where it says MAINTENANCE by using the ▼ button and then pull the SET button as a select button
In this menu, you can select ENGINE OIL or SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE
From there you can set the date or distance before the next service if you want
Once the setting is complete you gonna select SET and you’re good to go
For your info, this operation work for the fifth generation of the Subaru Impreza (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 model years).
So that’s it, and you’re all done. I have plenty more how-to content along with posts and a bunch of random Subaru videos. So check out the site, and thanks for reading, guys.
